Russell Leighton

Senior Vice President, Finance and Operations
Insight EMEA

Russell Leighton joined Insight in 2000 as a finance manager and assumed his current role as senior vice president of finance and operations of Insight EMEA in 2015. Leighton earned his bachelor’s in accounting and management at Sheffield Hallam University, and he is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). Prior to Insight, Leighton served at KPMG as an audit manager.

Leighton is responsible for all aspects of finance and operations across EMEA — playing a critical role around strategic planning and managing and monitoring financial and operational performance. He has also supported transformation projects as an executive sponsor that helped modernize key business processes and tools. Leighton reports directly to the CFO and plays an instrumental role in growing Insight’s business across EMEA.
