Karim Adatia assumed the role of senior vice president and deputy general counsel in October 2022. He is a purpose-driven business partner with more than 20 years of diverse experience working on corporate, commercial, mergers and acquisitions, securities, real estate and intellectual property matters in the United States, Canada and Southeast Asia. He started his legal career practicing law in the corporate and securities groups at law firms in Vancouver, Canada, and Phoenix, Arizona, advising emerging technology companies.

Adatia earned his law degree from the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada, and his bachelor’s degree from Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario, Canada. He is a U.S.-qualified attorney, after first being qualified to practice in Canada.

Today, Adatia leads a global legal team focused on partnering with Insight’s business to create successful business outcomes, meet its ambitious strategic priorities and manage legal risk. He is a servant leader and coach committed to allyship, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and serves as the executive sponsor for the AsianPacific@Insight teammate resource group at Insight.
