Get to know Joyce.
Joyce doesn’t stray from a challenge. Whether she’s joining a startup, managing a manufacturing plant or growing a business, she’s always willing to tackle new and unique opportunities.
Her technology career started after graduating from Brown University when she joined a high-tech startup led by one of her professors. Although the startup didn’t succeed, Joyce gained critical management experience that would influence the rest of her career.
Joyce enrolled in the Harvard Business School after her startup stint and took a position with Cummins Engine Company after graduation. She worked at Cummins for nine years, holding a variety of roles, including directing logistics in the EMEA region, managing a manufacturing plant and overseeing international customer support.
She then moved to Dell Technologies, where she held various leadership positions within operations, services and sales over the course of her 21-year tenure. Dell is where she first gained experience in helping grow a business through optimizing operations and finding efficiencies.
“I loved helping the business grow. When you’re on the operations side, it’s all about cost management and optimization. But on the sales/revenue side of the business, it’s all about growth and making numbers bigger.”
Prior to joining Insight, Joyce served as the president of the global channel and embedded and edge solutions at Dell. There, she started developing her relationship with Insight. Each new opportunity that Joyce approached throughout her career has given her a robust range of skills and expertise that she applies daily as Insight’s North American president.
Joyce joined Insight in October 2020 and focuses on providing increased value to clients and improving outcomes through our sales and services portfolios. Joyce lives and breathes Insight’s values of Hunger, Heart and Harmony. She works to inspire people and help Insight and its clients succeed.
She says it’s an exciting time to be in technology as the latest innovations allow businesses to do amazing things. And she’s more than happy to deliver the technology that makes it all possible every day.
